Lower Ngau Tau Kok Estate 牛頭角下邨

The Lower Ngau Tau Kok Estate one of earliest public estate which built in 1967 to 1969 by the Hong Kong Housing Department. Also it is the one of the old-style estate in Hong Kong that has not reconstructed completely. The block 1-7th has been fully dismantled already in 2004, and waiting for the reconstruction. Now, the block left 8-14th will also dismantle within 2008 to 09 years for reconstruction. These images will come people's collective recollection at the appointed time .......

牛頭角下邨於1967 - 1969年間興建, 是早期香港房委會轄下的公共屋邨之一. 也同時期舊式公共屋邨中全港僅存的未完全重建的屋邨。第1-7座於2004年已完成清拆正等待重建，現時只剩下第8-14座，也預算會於2008至09年內清拆重建。到時這些影像將變成大家的集體回憶.......

Corners in Central

Central, the heart of Hong Kong. Most people knows Central has a lot of tall buildings, and it is a business centre. However, there many interesting and old stuffs full in dufferent corners there.

Old "New Asia College" Visit in Sham Shui Po

A interesting visit of the former address of the "New Asia College" which was located in Kweilin Street, Sham Shui Po. The old campus of New Asia College just inside an old Chinese building, and established in September 1949 by Ch'ien Mu and several other scholars from mainland China. In March 1950 New Asia College was official established in Kau Pui Lung near Farm Road and Tin Kwong Road. It was amalgamated with Chung Chi College and United College to form CUHK in 1963. It is now one of the four colleges of The Chinese University of Hong Kong along with Chung Chi College, United College and Shaw College.

Another 2 hours walk in Shamshuipo 13-7-2008

As the title, here is the 2nd album of 2 hours walk in Shamshuipo. I went there on 13-7-2008 with 2 more photographers. One was my friend, one was my 5 years old son. It was very interesting to go photo taking with friends and son. In that day, there has an exhibition open ceremony held in Kweilin Street, the old address of "New Asia College".

"Lei Yue Mun" the very first sea food Chinese restaurant place in Hong Kong. Even this is my second time to visit there, but I have not much memory for my first vist, it was many many years ago, when I was still a little kid.

A Walk in Yau Tong

Yau Tong is a place in Hong Kong, which not many people will visit. Most people know about Yau Tong, may just as exchange MTR station. This is my first time to walk in there, and recording some images.

2 Hours in Cha Kwo Ling

Cha Kwo Ling (茶果嶺) is a place which I heard when I was a kid. Even Hong Kong is not a big place, however this is my first time to step on ground of Cha Kwo Ling. It may be hard for tourist to believe Hong Kong still has such a place which keeps many old DIY house.

2 Hours in Shamshuipo

As the title, all the photos in this album were taken within 120 mins in Shamshuipo district of Hong Kong. Shamshuipo is an old district, which has a lot of old buildings, and full of traditional stuffs. There also has a very famous street, called Apliu Street. It is full of vendors which selling electronic stuffs and old second hand things.

KITE FLY

These seven photos were took in last Sunday, in a very famous Kite Paradise "Tai Au Mun 大拗門" in Sai Kung, Hong Kong. Most the people may think kite playing is a kid's game, but I found a large group of Traditional Chinese Kite Warriors enjoying their Kite War Fighting Game for the whole day there.

Fly over Hong Kong

This was my 2nd time to have helicopter Hong Kong Island round trip. I took video and some photos during the trip. It was a very interesting and wounderful experience to ride on a helicopter, which was much different ride on a plane.

Chinese New Year "Flower Market" Victoria Park

The photos was took in "Flower Market" in the Victoria Park on 3 Feb 2008 before the Chinese New Year of Hong Kong. The year coming is the year of "Mouse", that is why so many people sell toys and stuffs in mouse images......

All Panorama Fotos

These Panorama photos were taken in many different places, such as Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong and China. Each of the panorama photos is the combination of 3 to 8 photos by using Photoshop to retouch. I know there has some programs which can do it automatically, however I like to make it by my own hands.

Fotanian 2008 Hong Kong
